Virtual Meal Pickup New Guidelines for All Children Ages 1-18

Pike County Food Service will begin serving meals free of charge tomorrow, Thursday September 10 between the hours of 12:00-6:00 to All children ages 1 to 18. Five breakfast and Five Lunch meals will be served through curbside pickup.  Children DO NOT have to be enrolled to receive these meals.
Please follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask when picking up meals. Do not come to the school if you have symptoms of or have been exposed to COVID.  You may send your School Spirit Meal Tag with a designated person under these circumstances.
How do you get these meals?
1.  If you are already enrolled in a Pike County School and have a School Spirit Meal Tag, go to your school and pick them up. Children Do Not have to be present.
2.  If you have children enrolled in more than one school, take both your tags to the school closest for your pick up.  They will take one of your tags and you can add all your children to that one site.  No more picking up at 2 schools.  YAY!!  Children Do Not have to be present.
3.  If your child is enrolled in a Pike County School and you don't have a School Spirit Meal Tag, go to the school of enrollment.  They will identify your child by our school roster and issue a School Spirit Meal Tag.  Children Do Not have to be present.
4.  If your child is NOT enrolled in a Pike County School and is the age of 1 to 18, you may go to the school nearest you.  Child(ren) MUST be present to receive meals.
We are excited for this NEW Federal Waiver to allow us to serve all children!  We look forward to seeing you curbside at a school near you.
