Pike County Schools will continue doing online registration for students by use of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal this year. Parents of returning students are encouraged to log in to the parent portal, go to the “More” tab and select “Online Registration” to begin the registration process for their student(s). Parents of new students should use one of the methods below to begin the process. We recommend using a computer rather than the cell phone app due to the amount of info needed on the applications. (Note that the OLR process has been updated this year and several of the forms typically found in the beginning of year packets are now included as part of the OLR process. Most schools will have a supplemental paper packet for parents to complete after the new school year begins. Paper packets will be sent home by students after the first day of school or a different process may be put in place by each school for parents to pick up packets at the schools.) Directions for parents that already have portal access:
Navigate to www.pike.kyschools.us, locate the Quick Links drop down menu, select Infinite Campus, then Parent Portal to begin the process… or just click here: https://kyede12.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/pike.jsp After the parent portal opens, go to the “More” tab and select “Online Registration” to begin the registration process.
Directions for parents that need access to the Parent Portal:
To access the Parent Portal, each parent will need a personal login. It is important that each parent creates a personal login and not use one of their children's login's as it will not display info for all children if there are multiple students in the household. To begin the process, parents need to acquire an activation key by contacting the school, each school's process for obtaining codes may be different. Once you have acquired your activation key: Navigate to www.pike.kyschools.us, locate the Quick Links drop down menu, select Infinite Campus, then Parent Portal to begin the process… or just click here: https://kyede12.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/pike.jsp On the parent portal login screen, scroll to the bottom of the page and select “New User?”. From here, insert the Activation Key provided to you and set up the new account. After the account is set up, open the parent portal, go to the “More” tab and select “Online Registration” to begin the registration process. You may also use the portal in the future to view student attendance, grades and assignments.
Directions for parents without Parent Portal Access or for New Students:
Email Method: Parents may begin an on line registration for students without using the Parent Portal, however this is not the preferred method by the district. Using this method, parents navigate to a link to begin the OLR process by entering their guardian info and email address. A message is then sent to the email address entered and the parent clicks a link in the email to begin a new registration. By using this method, parents will start with a blank form, no information is pulled from infinite Campus and all fields must be filled in completely for each child. KIOSK Method: For parents that do not have portal access, a computer at home or internet access in general, they may complete the OLR process by coming in to the school and accessing a link on a kiosk computer in the schools front office. Parents may elect to have office staff set up a Parent Portal login for them that they can use on the kiosk to enter OLR data or they may elect to just use a link on the KIOSK to just fill out a blank form. Please contact your child’s school to inquire about kiosk access times and locations.
