Principal's Message

I would like to welcome our school community, and the public to our school website, a public portal we use to feature our school and its many attributes.  You will find essential school information, important announcements, and highlights of our school campus with just a click via the world wide web. Most importantly, you will get a glimpse of the inside of our school and why we consider it to be "One of the Best" in Kentucky!

To the students, I would like to sincerely welcome each and every one of you to Pike County Central High School, home of the Hawks.  Whether you are a first-time or returning student, you have my word this will be the BEST school year that you have EVER experienced!! The Pike County Central High School staff, and I are extremely excited about the many opportunities and upcoming events that we have scheduled for you this year, and I want to assure you and the parents that we are deeply committed to making this a very special and successful year for all.  Our goal, that being among the top high schools in the state of Kentucky, is achievable as long as we all...students, parents, and staff...work together.

Steven Taylor, Principal
