The Pike County Board of Education is seeking applications for appointment to fill a vacancy on the Board for Division # 2. This appointment will be effective until the end of the term in 2020. Responsibilities include; setting policy to govern the District; hiring/evaluating the Superintendent; and levying taxes and adopting the District budget. Board members must:
-Be at least 24 years old and a Kentucky citizen for the last three years;
-Be a registered voter in the particular District of the vacancy;
-Have completed the 12th grade or have a GED certificate;
-Meet all other legal qualifications (KRS 160.180); and
-Complete required annual in-service training.
Applications are available at Pike County Board of Education or online at Mail applications to: Mr. Reed Adkins, Superintendent, ATTN: Board Vacancy, 316 South Mayo Trail, Pikeville KY 41501. Deadline for accepting applications is July 23, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.

Lunch Tray Summer Food Service Program

The Pike County Board of Education is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.  Meals will be provided to all children without charge      and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course      of the meal service.  Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:
